Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 May 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Loopin ("we", "us") for using the Loopin app on iOS. By downloading or using Loopin, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
TL;DR
- Your songs, lyrics and recordings are yours. We claim no ownership over anything you create.
- Loopin is a tool — we give you a personal licence to use it, not the rights to copy, resell or rebuild it.
- Loopin is provided "as is". Keep your own backups of work that matters.
- Purchases run through Apple, under Apple's terms.
Your licence to use Loopin
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Loopin on Apple devices you own or control, for your own music-making. This licence is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), which these terms supplement.
What you may not do
- Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Rent, lease, sell, sublicense or redistribute the app.
- Use Loopin to break the law, or to store or share content you don't have the rights to.
- Interfere with the app's security or normal operation.
Your content stays yours
Everything you make in Loopin — songs, beats you import, lyrics, recordings, takes and versions — belongs to you. We don't claim any ownership, and because your content lives on your device (and your private iCloud, if you enable sync), we don't access it. You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to any beats or audio you import.
Backups and loss of data
Your work is stored on your device. We strongly recommend keeping your own backups — use Settings → Export library for a .loopinbackup archive, and keep iOS/iCloud backups on. We are not responsible for content lost through device failure, deletion, lost devices, or uninstalling the app.
Purchases and Loopin Pro
Loopin is free to start. Loopin Pro is an optional upgrade sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Payment, billing, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple under your Apple ID, subject to Apple's Media Services Terms. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings; restore a past purchase from Settings → Restore Purchases in the app.
Updates and availability
We may update, change or discontinue features over time to improve Loopin or keep it working with new versions of iOS. We don't guarantee the app will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
Disclaimer
Loopin is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the app will meet your requirements or that it will be free of bugs or interruptions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Loopin will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, recordings or content, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.
Privacy
Your use of Loopin is also covered by our Privacy Policy, which explains how the little data we handle is treated.
Changes to these terms
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and may surface the change in the app. Continuing to use Loopin after a change means you accept the updated terms.
