Questions
Is mastering itself free?
Yes. Mastering, previewing, A/B‑ing and re‑mastering are free and unlimited, with or without an account. Only downloads are counted.
Is the paid master better quality?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. Unlimited uses the same engine, the same presets and the same 16‑bit WAV output as the free tier. You are paying for how many finished files you can take, not for a better master.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep unlimited downloads until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account returns to the free allowance. Anything you already downloaded is yours regardless.
What if my card fails?
Access carries on to the end of the period you paid for while Paddle retries. A failed payment this morning does not cost you your masters this afternoon.
